I love the look, the texture, the patterns, and the colors of paper.
When I was a child my mother took us to Woolworths. They had a small arts & crafts section where you could find me while my mother shopped—standing and staring at all the papers, inks, pens, markers, and notebooks.
The stores I frequent now are bigger and more art supply-focused than Woolworths but the results are pretty much the same. I love art supplies!
Even though I'm focused on acrylic painting, it doesn't stop me from purchasing papers, pencils, ink, pens, stamps, and templates.
Recently I've been painting with acrylics on paper. I didn't see that one coming but boy is it fun!!
In addition, I've been creating digital papers with some of my artwork! That's how much I LOVE paper!! LOL
I've even started recording myself playing and creating with paper.
